Composite

Composite is a tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture used to restore decayed teeth. Composites are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the color of the teeth, reshaping disfigured teeth, or closing spacing between teeth. This may also be referred to as bonding.

Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening is the process of using carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide to remove extrinsic and intrinsic stains and discolorations from the tooth surfaces. The result is a brighter, whiter smile! Dental 32 will make you custom whitening trays that are specific to your mouth, and help keep the whitening gel off your gum tissue to help decrease sensitivity.

Ceramic Crowns

Crowns are full coverage tooth restorations which save teeth with large, failing fillings and teeth which are fractured or brittle. Crowns also restore severely worn teeth to their ideal forms, providing better chewing function and normal facial height. All-ceramic or porcelain crowns possess enhanced esthetics over traditional porcelain-fused-to-metal or all-metal crowns. All-ceramic and porcelain crowns appear more natural in shade, and refract the light to make the crown appear more like your own tooth.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom made shells of tooth-colored porcelain designed to cover the front surface or your teeth to improve the appearance of your smile. These restorations are cemented to the front of the tooth, changing their color, shape, size, or length. Veneers are frequently used to close spacing, cover discolored teeth, and enhance the beauty of your smile. Veneers are a more long term esthetic treatment than composite bonding, and veneers do not stain as easily as composite or bonding.

BOTOX®

Dr. Meyer is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and took multiple levels of training through the AAFE to be able to offer BOTOX® and dermal filler treatments to patients. At Dental 32, we exclusively use BOTOX® Cosmetic to enhance cosmetic cases, and to treat pain in the main chewing muscles of patients suffering from Temporal Mandibular Joint Disorder (TMD), clenching, and grinding. BOTOX® can also be used to non-invasively treat gummy smiles, and to help correct down-turned corners of the mouth. BOTOX® targets the contraction centers of muscles, temporarily weakening that muscles ability to contract, yielding a smoother appearance in the skin. BOTOX® has the added aesthetic benefit of minimizing the appearance of frown and surprise forehead lines, as well as crows feet around the eyes.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable gels made for soft tissue, and are placed underneath the skin and into the lips to provide a smoother, more youthful appearance. Dr. Meyer uses Juvederm products, including Juvederm XC, Juvederm Ultra XC, and Juvederm Voluma XC. They are placed into facial folds to reduce the appearance of smile and marionette lines, and they are also placed into the cheek area for mid-face volumization to lift and smooth the cheek. Dr. Meyer can also inject dermal filler into the lips for a natural appearing, subtle lip augmentation to help even out smile lines. Dermal fillers are also used to improve down turned corners of the mouth; this helps patients suffering from chronic angular chelitis, a common condition in denture-wearing and older patients.

At Dental 32, we treat patients with the highest standard of care and professionalism in order to provide excellent dental care that enhances the natural beauty of their smiles, and guides patients towards oral health.
